EPISODE SIX

PARKER: THE VAMPIRE WHO KNEW TOO LITTLE

Dude, could this day be going any better?

Parker pranced down the hallway, feeling way too good about everything.  No, not pranced…sure that stupid jerk Donovan Matthews always said that about him (and had even made up some ridiculous nickname for him), but Parker knew what he actually had was pure swagger.

ANDROCLES: MAN OF FAME

“Hello friends!” Androcles boomed as he swept into the rec room of the American Legion building.  All heads turned to stare.  Several wise, old souls looked hard at him with tired eyes between their white beards and NRA caps.  There was a younger man in the corner with a rigid spine and pulled back shoulders.  He looked wary and tense; probably fresh from combat, Androcles thought.  He could barely suppress his smile.  These were his kind of men and women.  Soldiers.

EPISODE FIVE

RAYMOND AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY

Raymond stared at the desk in front of him, praying the day would just end already.  The dreaded “Time Out” at First Flight High was not something he would wish on anyone.  Well, except maybe Skylar.  In fact, he would wish her boils, the plague…or worse, a really terrible acne breakout. EPISODE FOUR

TEN THINGS SKYLAR HATES ABOUT YOU

Skylar watched as the shuttle service van pulled away from the curb.  This had to be the most embarrassing thing ever.  Androcles was still waving as the van drove down the street, and all three of the teens were looking anywhere but at him. Continue reading

Valentine’s Day Special!

PARKER’S BLOODY VALENTINE

Parker and his date watched as the golf ball sailed through the air.  It bounced off of the walls and numerous other surfaces, including a poor young child just ahead of them on the mini golf course.  He was somewhat surprised by how hard he had just hit the ball; and also found it a little funny that it had hit the kid so perfectly.  Until he saw the look on his date’s face.  Jessica was clearly agitated and trying not to show it.  He choked back back his laugh and looked down, “I, uh…guess I don’t know my own strength…”  He gave Jessica another quick glance.  “And it’s a shame about that little boy…” Continue reading

EPISODE THREE

MEET THE MOORES

Parker couldn’t believe this was really happening.  He and the other two teenagers next to him were now “vampires” (which was something he was apparently supposed to take seriously now). Continue reading

EPISODE TWO

   RAYMOND, NERD OF THE DAMNED

It had been a normal day.  It had even been a boring day.  Which wasn’t all that unusual for being a teenager in Kill Devil Hills.  The small towns on North Carolina’s outer banks weren’t exactly known for their excitement.  Things seemed to take a turn for the better, however, when the text came through.  And it was the text.  The one that Raymond had been dreaming about for months: Continue reading
